    Member of the National Committee (9 Professors elected and named by the Minister of University and Scientific Research) to select candidates for promotions to Associate Professor Position in the following field: Algebra & Geometry (A183-1986, A012-1990).

    President of the Organizing Committee of "IV Convegno di Topologia", an International Conference on Topology held in Sorrento, September 14-17, 1988.

    President of the Organizing Committee of "Function spaces, quasi-proximities and uniformities" Caserta, 14-18 September 2001.
