A characterization of splitting topologies on the set C(Y, F)

Let F={0, 1, 2, ..., n}
be a finite topologica space. By C(Y, F)
we denote the set of all continuous maps of Y into F. We give a
necessary and sufficient condition for a topology on the set C(Y, F)
to be splitting. Using this condition we characterize the greatest splitting
topology on C(Y, F).
